Transportation

As required by the Utah Division of Risk Management, all Emery County School District employees who drive a district vehicle must complete the Defensive Driver online training course. Please provide a copy of current defensive driver certificate and driver's license to the ECSD Transportation office before scheduling a district vehicle.

Instructions:

• After clicking on the link below, you will be taken to the State of Utah's Risk Management training page
• Scroll down to the "Utah Learning Portal Training" section
• Click on the blue bar to expand the options under "To access the right portal for your agency..."
• Click the first option on the list entitled "Educational & Independent Agencies".  (This will take you to the Utah Learning Portal page)
• Please sign in and complete the training
• If this is your first time logging in, please create a new account by clicking on the gray "Sign Up" button in the Utah Learning Portal box
• When creating a new account, the required security key word is: emery
• Once you have logged in, click on "Defensive Driver Training" to begin the course

After you have successfully completed the training, please email your certificate to Jenny Durrant at jennyd@emeryschools.org.
